Restaurants and gourmet tours
Very close to Casa Pinti you can find some local, very interesting restaurants, Accadi, is a typical Florentine restaurant and it’s just next door to Casa Pinti.
One block away one can find Acquacotta, another classic Florentine trattoria, a few blocks away there are Il Pizzaiuolo, one of the best Neapolitan pizza makers of Florence (often too busy).
Same distance is La Pentola dell’Oro, a more creative place, even if our guests prefer the first two restaurant/trattoria.
Great for a lunch break, the Brunori bakery, prepares good and affordable sandwiches, Sicilia e arà, a small Sicilian place with great Arancini, Cannoli and an extremely good ice cream, surely worth a try.
Finally the covered Sant’Ambrogio market is worth a visit not only because it’s an interesting historical market but also for a lunch snack with some of its local specialties.

MARKET SHOPPING WITH COOKING CLASS AND LUNCH
The course starts with a guided tour of the ancient food market of S. Ambrogio. We will pick you up at your home and walk to S. Ambrogio market where you will be guided among the stalls of the food market. After ten minutes walking to the chef’s home you will learn how to prepare a complete meal, plus you will learn a lot of info about Italian food, habits and culture. After the cooking class, lunch will be served, accompanied with appropriate wine.
The program
• 10:00AM Pickup at your home. Your chef will guide you around this historical food market
• 10:45AM We will walk to the chef’s home
• 11:00AM Participants will start the cooking class
• 1:00PM Lunch is served, with all the dishes prepared accompanied with the appropriate wine
• 2:00PM We will accompany you back home
TUSCAN COOKING PRIVATE LESSONS WITH LUNCH
The course can be held at the chef’s home or at your home. You will learn how to prepare a complete meal, plus you will learn a lot of info about Italian food, habits and culture. After the cooking class, lunch will be served, accompanied with appropriate wine.
